Registration and costs

APPLICATION

In order to apply for the course please click here and insert your application as requested. The deadline for the application is 22 April 2025.

REGISTRATION FEE

Regular registration: € 2000 for the mandatory modules and € 500 for each of the optional modules
PhD students: € 800 for the mandatory modules and € 150 for each of the optional modules

VAT is not applicable to the registration fees due to art. 10 DPR 633/26.10.72 and subsequent modifications.

PhD students should attach to the online application form the official certificate of enrollment in the phd program of their university, for the current year.

SCHOLARSHIP

The European Safety and Reliability Association (ESRA) supports the course with five scholarships to be awarded to PhD students. Each scholarship covers the two mandatory Modules (Modules 1 and 2) plus two of the optional Modules (Modules 3, 4, 5, 6).

Scholarships will be assigned considering the affinity of the research to the topics of the course, the quality of the CV and the number and impact of publications in the field. if you are interested, please attach your cv to the registration form.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE COURSE

Minimum number of participants: 10

Maximum number of participants: 30

Admission to the course follows a first-come, first-served basis.

If the minimum number participants is reached, the course will start as planned. If not, the course will  be postponed or cancelled. 

This communication will be sent to participants by 23 April 2025, along with detailed instructions on how to proceed with the payment of the registration fee.

If necessary, the Direction may modify the programme, the Faculty and the course teaching method.

In case of proven and serious circumstances preventing from participating to the course, the participant has got two options:

1)To obtain the refund of the registration fee, provided that the subject student  has duly informed the course staff by 24 April 2025.

2)To keep on hold the registration fee, assuming the relevant amount is used for the following course session. In line with the above, this option is viable, as long as the course staff has been properly informed, again by 24 April 2025.

Politecnico di Milano is only liable for the refund of the registration fees already honored. 

The Institution/Company is allowed to replace a participant with another employee before the course starts, assuming the course staff has been promptly informed accordingly.
